Back in the studio with my friend Kweku

This week I’m releasing a new B-side track recorded with a good old collaborator, Kweku aka K.O.G.

K.O.G is a Ghanaian musician based in Sheffield, UK. We first collaborated back in 2017, and this new track came out of a completely improvised session at OneTwoPassIt studios in Paris with Olive Page on backing vocals, squeezed in between two other recording sessions.

The first version was literally recorded in about 20 minutes. I forgot about the song for a long time until I started digging through my demos folder a few months ago.

We decided to finish it properly, and K.O.G recorded the second verse in Sheffield earlier this year. The track is called Dreaming and it’s out on now.
